The Music Men Barbershop chorus is the primary performing ensemble of the Dubuque, Iowa, chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, a 23,000 member, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and encouragement of Barbershop singing throughout the world. The Dubuque Chapter was chartered in 1949 and has been one of the Tri-State area's most active musical organizations. Membership is open to all men who enjoy singing. The current membership includes men ranging from teenager to senior and from experienced performer to novice.

Our Mission: To promote the Arts by creating a place where people experience the JOY of singing, the HARMONY that happens when we connect with others and GROWING as individuals and as a chapter.
We believe that when people interact through a musical experience, there is the possibility that they can shed their differences and find a unified love for life and respect for one another.
Our greatest joy is when we can use our talents to support, enliven and encourage events happening within the community.

Besides our Annual Show, we wander the area singing Christmas Carols during December.

Opportunities! There are lots of quartet opportunities ranging from Singing Valentines to Birthday performances.

Service Opportunities!
We wander the streets of Galena at Christmastime, singing and collecting donations. We donate these funds to the Dubuque Rescue Mission
